Our mission in our Special Needs Ministry is to provide a safe environment for every child who needs more individual attention and a smaller classroom size as they learn the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. Our time together in Sunday school includes music, a Bible story, creative crafts and snack.  We count it a blessing each week to follow the words of Jesus who said...

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14

Children meet in the first floor of the "E" building during the 10am service. This room has been transformed to serve solely as our Special Needs Class with proper toys, decor, curriculum and volunteers trained to work with children diagnosed with Autism, Downs Syndrome and other special needs. We currently minister to kids ages 3 - 2nd grade and hopefully will need to expand!

What we provide: We offer a safe, loving environment for children with special needs. Parents can check in their children using our computer check-in system that provides a security badge with corresponding numbers for child and parent. We will also provide a pager at check in time so parents may go enjoy the adult worship with peace of mind. Parents will be immediately paged should any problems arise.

What we ask of you: We ask that parents serve in their child's class once a month in Special Needs Ministry. As our ministry grows, we hope this will become once a quarter.

We are currently looking for a teacher for our Special Needs Class, who will  create a fun, loving atmosphere for learning about Jesus!
