The Growing Tree Preschool and Daycare

"Teach a child to choose the right path and when he is older he will remain upon it."
-The Living Bible - Proverbs 22:6
We believe that children are little people, each a unique human being created and loved by God. Our school provides a curriculum in which the child is respected and appreciated as an individual with his/her own rate and style of learning and his/her own unique patterns of approaching situations.
Enrollment Information
To be enrolled at the Growing Tree Preschool, your child must be 3 by December 2, or close to it, and up to 5 years of age. We also require that your child be toilet trained. The same requirements apply to children enrolled in daycare.
Preschool and Daycare Hours
Our preschool program runs from 8:30 to 11:30 each morning. The school opens at 7:00 A.M. and closes at 6:00 P.M. Please refer to the rate schedule to determine what hours you prefer. This will determine your tuition rate.
Personnel
Most essential for the child's well being and growth are the adults who train and care for them. Our director, assistant directors, and teachers have been with the school for several years. They are qualified and dedicated Early Childhood instructors who still take specialized classes to further help them understand all needs of the young child.
A Day in the Life of the Preschool
Every weekday morning at 6:45 a.m., "Miss Muffin" opens the parking lot gates and unlocks the preschool building. She then begins to get ready for the coming onslaught. By 7:30 or so, the place is buzzing with the sound of little kids, preschoolers, playing, chattering, running, and maybe even a few whimpers. By 8:00 a.m., the other teachers have arrived, as have a lot more children. For the rest of the day, until 6:00 p.m., this part of our campus is organized chaos. There is story time, school time, circle time, playtime, snack time and nap time. Gail Farley and her team of outstanding, dedicated teachers demonstrate to these little ones what love is all about. When they tell these kids that Jesus loves them, the children know what they mean because they have seen it in action.
An example of that idea is demonstrated at every Growing Tree Preschool graduation ceremony. You can hear the kids sing about Jesus and His love, hear them recite some of the things they've learned, and watch as they show how much they love and trust their teacher friends. Trust is a big part of giving ones self to the Lord. These kids know about love, about trust and about the Lord!
The Growing Tree Preschool was established in 1982. , and has been at Quail Lakes Baptist Church since 1994.
