Tapestry…
As we look into the month of June there are some exciting things that I want to tell you about. One of them is our annual “Tapestry of Quail” celebration. This year Tapestry will take place on June 2nd, and we are anticipating a wonderful day of fellowship and food from the various ethnic groups represented within our body. Plan to stay after the third service and enjoy the wonderful time that we will have together.

Sabbatical…
One other June development is that I will be taking a 4 week sabbatical starting June 3rd. The ministry needs of the congregation will be covered well by our staff, and I am sure that you will be blessed by those who will preach in my absence.

Sermon Series…
When I return on July 7th, we will begin an in-depth look at the book of Joshua. To assist you in gaining all that an exploration of this book has to offer, our own Eual Blansett has once again written a companion commentary that is in a highly readable form. It gives much of the background and historical nuances that we will not be able to cover within the sermon proper. The book is entitled, “God Led and Joshua Followed – The Story of the Conquest of Canaan.” The book will be sold for $10, and 100% of the proceeds will go toward the funding of our High School Summer Mission Trip to New York City in July.

We will begin sales of the book on June 23rd, so that you will be able to read some of the introductory material prior to the start of the series in July.

Thanks in advance for your participation, love and support for all that the Lord is going to do here at Quail this summer.
Pastor Marc
