High School

QLBC High School Ministry seeks to reach teenagers where they are at, with the truth, love, and hope of the gospel of Christ. It is through relational connection and community that students are invited to meet God and experience His power in their lives, while growing in their faith with the strength, support, and encouragement of leaders and peers. Throughout the year we provide weekly classes and in-home Bible studies, as well as outreach events, social events, camps, retreats, and mission trips.
Tuesday Night Bible Study meets mid-September through April, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., for an in-home Bible study. This is a perfect place to form great friendships with other students, build relationships with adult leaders, and grow closer to the Lord. Studies vary from co-ed, to guy/girl separated studies throughout the year, to allow for deeper connection and conversations. Students are encouraged to establish accountability with one another, to develop consistent devotional time with God, and to share their faith and experiences with the people in their lives. Location of the study changes from time to time, so check back regularly or follow us on Instagram to see updates on location.
theATTIC meets Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in room E-306. Here students experience Christ through Bible study, worship through music, prayer, and community life. Students dive into the Bible through group discussions, sermon teachings, video series’, testimonials, and devotional studies. We provide a place for students to worship Christ through music, both as worshippers and worship leaders, encouraging them to praise the Lord in all things. Prayer and community life is where we see God transform students through relational connection and mentoring. Leaders are available for counsel, and to walk through the ups and downs of life with students; and the peer connections in youth group are what sustain students outside of the church classroom, providing accountability and friendship.
Service Projects and Outreach events are a huge part of the High School Ministry at Quail! We offer many ways to get involved in serving our church and our city throughout the year.
Every year the High School Ministry embarks on a Mission trip. These trips vary from local (in CA), domestic (in the U.S.), and international (outside of the U.S.) on a three-year rotation.
In community is where we see students thrive. So we offer many social events throughout the year where students and leaders get together to just have fun!
During the Summer we head off to Hume Lake Christian Camps in the Sierra Nevada mountains, for a week of growth, reflection, and fun!
