Care Ministries

We take seriously the commands in Scripture to “love one another” and “care for one another” (John 13:34-35; Romans 12:10). This happens from the heart in many spontaneous ways. In addition, we have organized teams to provide care in a variety of ways in times of need. Click on a card to learn more about our Care Ministries.

Lay/Peer Counseling

At some point in our lives, all of us need safe and present listening support to help us sort out the puzzle pieces of life. The Lay/Peer Counseling Ministry is available to all. We offer lay/peer counseling for individuals (male-male or female-female) and couples (a male and a female lay/peer counselor will meet with the couple). Our lay/peer counselors do not provide crisis counseling. You may also want to check out our Support and Recovery groups.

Support & Recovery Groups

You don’t have to face life transitions alone. Our Support Groups Ministry provides structured, caring groups for specific life challenges and transitions from a biblical perspective. Groups provide support, education, understanding, encouragement, and accountability in a dynamic way. They are facilitated by trained volunteers and use excellent, proven curricula. Groups typically open up to new members in the spring and fall and remain open for several weeks, then close to new members to allow for continuity and deeper sharing together in the established group. We periodically launch and run other support groups, so make sure to check back frequently.
